Flic-en-Flac Beach

Although not the most beautiful beach in Mauritius,
Flic-en-Flac is one of the most touristic city and offers
many restaurants, bars, hotels, and shops. Street food
and watersport activities vendors walk around all day long,
willing to offer their services to locals as well as tourists.

Snorkelling & Surfing in Style

Tamarin Bay Beach

The Tamarin Bay starts at the Tamarina Hotel and goes
down to Tamarin's City Center. It is one of the few beaches
not protected by coral reefs. It makes it a great snorkelling
and surfing spot, although you must remain cautious in the water.

The True Heaven on Earth

Île aux Cerfs Island

Mauritius has several small islands accessible through
private boat tours, which are quite expensive for locals.
In that regard, the Île aux Cerfs Island (literally Deer Island)
is the most famous and therefore the most accessible one.
No prior bookings are required as you can just show up at
embarkation and bargain for a boat transfer.

Meeting spot for Fishermen and Tourists

Grand Baie Beach

Although the city's name may be misleading, the bay isn't
remotely the prettiest in Mauritius. However, its central
location in the Northern touristic city makes it a great place
to walk by, enjoy the view and meet fishermen back from
their sail. It is also populated by bars and restaurants.

The Surfers' Favorite Spot

Le Morne Beach

The beach of Le Morne is literally at the South West's
edge of the island, providing a great bay scenery and
view on the Morne Brabant hill. Its remote location makes
it a quiet and safe choice for relaxing. Also, the strong
currents and winds make it a first choice beach for
kitesurfing and other watersports activities.

Bagatelle Mall

Since 2011, Bagatelle has become the most popular mall
of the Island. Conveniently located in the centre, it is easily
accessible via the highway and includes a large parking
space. It hosts restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and a
movie theater, offering a wide range of products and
services for all budgets.

The Wildest Eastern Reserve

Bras d'Eau National Park

As much of the Eastern villages, Bras d'Eau is located in
the middle of nowhere and is difficult to access even by car.
Its natural reserve is thus not so popular among tourists
and locals, which makes it one of the wildest spots for trails.

A Capital City's Must-See

Caudan Waterfront

The Caudan is one of the oldest mall built in Mauritius.
Located on the docks of Port-Louis, it includes many
high-end boutiques, duty-free shops, and cheap food
vendors. It also hosts two great business hotels:
Le Labourdonnais and Le Suffren.

The Heart of our Capital City

Port Louis Central Market

Being the main city in Mauritius, Port Louis is the home
of the largest market, where you can find fresh food items,
local dishes, and various handcrafted goods that are useful
to locals and serve as souvenirs for tourists. It is always
crowded, even during weekdays, as many locals working
in Port Louis stop by for a cheap snack.

Belle-Mare Beach Sunrise

Belle-Mare is the largest and most popular beach of the
East coast. As it is well enlightened at night and much
parking space is available, it is the perfect place to camp,
jog or walk while watching the sunrise.
